03.05.26 Stoic Poetry #246
I’ve been sharing these little stoic musings for the best part of a year
but, real talk—I still have far to go myself;
sometimes I still feel my hormones rule me,
other times I speak before I think,
some daily stoics I disagree with,
I still say things that make me cringe.
I’m trying to be more mindful
and turn these words into work,
I don’t share these musings from a high horse,
If anything, they’re little notes to self.
